Himalaya
80% of the population living at more than 3000m altitude suffer from irreversible ocular lesions, causing an exodus of the mountain areas. We collect the sunglasses that you no longer wear to give them a new life.
The glasses are transported with the help of Chamonix guides in the Himalayas in the most isolated villages, often accessible after several days of walking or motorcycling.
Each pair of Pascal Mathieu sunglasses you buy helps finance the collect, cleaning, transport and distribution of 10 pairs.
Collection Boxes
With the support of the participating municipalities as well as the Compagnie du Mont-Blanc Foundation and the Compagnie des Guides de Chamonix, collection boxes are at your disposal.

- Sunglasses for children
- Preferably sunglasses without prescription
- Each pair is reconditioned and distributed directly to the population
- Five convoys have already departed for the Himalayas in 2018, 2019, 2021 and 2 in 2022
- Next convoy will depart in April 2024
